PUBLIC COMMENTS ARE DUE DECEMBER 10, 2007

• Personalize your comments as much as possible - do you live, recreate, work near these lands?

• Be as specific as possible.

• Look at, and point out, inadequacies, such as economics analysis, fire and fuels reduction and climate change...

• Ask that they protect mature and old-growth forests and focus management on thinning already existing plantations.

• Ask that they protect communities from fire.

• Send copies of your comments to your elected officials - both Senators and your Congressperson!
